Unsun Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Alone I look for the way
Hoping you're waiting for me
Where the hostile world has no say
That is where I always want to be.
Where my eyes want to follow
When I'm far away,
When life brings sorrow,
Into silence I escape.

Among the stars
There is a place
To where my heart
Always returns.

Alone I look for the way
Hoping you're waiting for me
Where the hostile world has no say
That is where I always want to be.
Where my rush of thoughts
In oblivion drowns
To forget the evil lot
I will sleep in safe arms.

Among the stars
There is a place
To where my heart
Always returns.

There I always have some time
To heal every wound,
To help the life's shine
Long forgotten, return.
There is such a place,
My own little space,
After each lost battle
Its power remains.
There I always have some time
To heal every wound,
To help the life's shine
Long forgotten, return.
There is such a place,
My own little space,
After each lost battle
Its power remains.

Among the stars
There is a place
To where my heart
Always returns.

There is always some room
When the world brings me gloom.

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to the Unsun song "Home" are about finding a sanctuary - a place of peace and safety when the world outside is harsh and unforgiving. It's a place where the singer can escape from the chaos of life and find solace. The opening lines describe the search for this place, "Alone I look for the way, hoping you're waiting for me, where the hostile world has no say, that is where I always want to be." The singer is looking for a place where the world's harshness cannot reach them.

The song then describes this sanctuary as being among the stars where the singer's heart always returns. It's a place that offers healing and the chance to forget life's painful experiences. The lyrics show the importance of this space to the singer, "There is such a place, my own little space, after each lost battle its power remains." It's a place of rejuvenation and empowerment, where the singer can regain strength to face the challenges of life. The chorus repeats the line, "Among the stars there is a place to where my heart always returns," emphasizing the importance of this sanctuary to the singer.

In the second verse, the lyrics describe the power of this place to heal emotional wounds and bring back the brightness of life. "There I always have some time to heal every wound, to help the life's shine long forgotten return." It's a place where the singer can find peace and feel safe, "I will sleep in safe arms." The song ends with the reminder that there is always room in this sanctuary when the world brings gloom.

Overall, the lyrics to "Home" describe the human need for a safe and peaceful space where one can escape from the chaos of life. It's a place of healing and empowerment, where one can regain strength to face the challenges of the world. @John Rankin wow man had no idea..thats really too bad she was amazing

John Rankin

@tyler ward The band was started by Ex-Vader guitarist and his wife Anna (the vocalist) and she acquired an illness that effected her nervous system along with her vocal cords in which neck and spine surgery is required.. She could no longer sing.

amazing band..not sure what happened to them after though

DezertFox

Agreed. Poland has a lot of underrated artists. NeraNature is even more deserving of adulation yet!

Descobri essa banda ano passado e estou apaixonado por seu estilo! Uma pena que eles não tocam mais.

It's a real god damn shame what happened to this band. Anna apparently is suffering from a disease not revealed that affects her nerve system. At first, after Clinic for Dolls, her vocal chords were shot. Then it was revealed later that apparently it would be a miracle if she could walk again.

As far as I know, she never revealed her illness fully and basically the band was forced to separate as she could no longer sing or perform.

Very unique and wonderful band. I wish Anna and Mauser well and hope that one day they will be able to perform together. At least you could give us two fantastic albums to enjoy!

@Steven Hoshaw yeah it is. They did just post a picture together on their Facebook a little while ago so that's good.
