They officially disbanded in [yearended]2016[/yearended].
Their debut album, entitled 'The End Of Life', was released on September 22, 2008 by Century Media Records. The follow up album 'Clinic For Dolls' was released October 11, 2010.
UnSun was founded by Vader guitarist Mauser and lead vocalist Aya. Originally named Unseen, they later changed their name to UnSun to reflect their blending of death metal influences and melodic vocals. Mauser and Aya added additional musicians to complete the group. In 2007, the group was signed with Mystic Production.

@tyler ward The band was started by Ex-Vader guitarist and his wife Anna (the vocalist) and she acquired an illness that effected her nervous system along with her vocal cords in which neck and spine surgery is required.. She could no longer sing.

It's a real god damn shame what happened to this band. Anna apparently is suffering from a disease not revealed that affects her nerve system. At first, after Clinic for Dolls, her vocal chords were shot. Then it was revealed later that apparently it would be a miracle if she could walk again.
As far as I know, she never revealed her illness fully and basically the band was forced to separate as she could no longer sing or perform.
Very unique and wonderful band. I wish Anna and Mauser well and hope that one day they will be able to perform together. At least you could give us two fantastic albums to enjoy!
