Aku Pasti Datang
Utha Likumahuwa Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Tanpa terasa malam telah tiba
Kita berjanji untuk bertemu lagi
Untuk kesekian kali
Resahnya hati semakin menjadi
Saat terbayang wajah bapakmu
Yang kurang bagus danTak pernah tersenyum
Aku jadi ngilu
Tapi biarlah demi cintaku
Akan kulupakan semua kesan
Oh juwita, nantikanlah diriku
Janganlah kau bimbang
Aku pasti datang
Yang kurang bagus dan
Tak pernah tersenyum
Aku jadi ngilu
Tapi biarlah demi cintaku
Akan kulupakan semua kesan
Oh juwita, nantikanlah diriku
Janganlah kau bimbang
Aku pasti datang
The lyrics of "Aku Pasti Datang" by Utha Likumahuwa reflect a sense of confusion, restlessness, and anticipation. The singer is caught off guard by the arrival of the night, which signifies the agreed-upon meeting time with someone. It seems like they have made a promise to meet again, possibly after previously meeting multiple times before.
As the night progresses, the singer's anxiety and unease intensify. The mention of the person's father's face, which is described as not nice and never smiling, adds to their discomfort. The singer feels a sense of pain at the thought of this person's father, suggesting that there may be unresolved issues or negative emotions associated with him.
Despite these unsettling thoughts and emotions, the singer emphasizes their willingness to let go of all the impressions and experiences they have had so far. This implies a deep devotion and love for the person they are longing to meet again. They are determined to overlook any negative aspects or memories, for the sake of their love.
In the chorus, the singer directly addresses "Juwita," asking them to patiently wait for their arrival. The use of the name "Juwita" suggests that this person holds a special place in the singer's heart. They reassure Juwita not to worry because they promise to come, emphasizing their commitment and reliability.
Overall, "Aku Pasti Datang" explores emotions of confusion, restlessness, pain, and devotion. The lyrics depict a longing for someone dear, despite the presence of past difficulties. The singer's affirmation to leave behind any negative impressions signifies their determination to prioritize their love and fulfill their promise of returning.
