Bulan dan bintang 'kan bersemi lagi
Bagaikan pelita yang datang
Menyinari sukma yang hilangkan lara
Duka nestapa
Kala burung berkicau
Entah mengapa?
Oh, mengapa?
Mengapa?
Tersiksa lagi
Kala surya menghilang
Bulan dan bintang 'kan bersemi lagi
Bagaikan pelita yang datang
Menyinari sukma yang hilangkan lara
Duka nestapa
Kala burung berkicau
Mentari pagi akan datang lagi
Menghangatkan hati yang sedang dimabuk asmara
Dan menyiksa raga
Di manakah akan kucari pengganti dirimu?
Entah di mana?
Oh, di mana?
Di mana?
Di mana lagi harus kucari?
Mengapakah diri ini harus tersiksa lagi?
Entah mengapa?
Oh, mengapa?
Mengapa?
Tersiksa lagi
The song "Tersiksa Lagi" by Utha Likumahuwa combines themes of heartbreak, longing, and the beauty of nature. The lyrics describe the pain of losing someone, and the struggle to move on and find a new love. The song begins with a melancholic tone, as the singer describes the disappearance of the sun and the emergence of the moon and stars. However, the arrival of these celestial bodies also brings a sense of hope and new beginnings, represented by the metaphor of a lantern illuminating a troubled soul.
As the song continues, the melody picks up pace and the singer shifts his attention to the natural world, describing the chirping of birds and the warmth of the morning sun. These images represent the passage of time and the gradual healing of a broken heart. However, the chorus repeats the question of where the singer will find a replacement for his lost love, emphasizing the difficulty of moving on and finding a new path. The repetition of the phrase "Tersiksa lagi" at the end of the song underscores the pain and frustration of going through the heartbreak process again.
Overall, "Tersiksa Lagi" is a thoughtful and emotionally charged representation of the complexities of love and heartbreak.
