Vàli began his solo work in 2003. His music involves acoustic guitar pieces, occasionally accompanied by instruments such as flute and cello.
He has released two albums: "Forlatt" (2004) and "Skogslandskap" (2013). A five-album contract has been signed with the label Auerbach Tonträger.

Vàli also plays acoustic and electric guitar in the Norwegian atmospheric doom metal band Skumring.
