Right up to my face
Yeah I know you won't say that
Yeah
Right up to my face
Yeah I know you won't say that
Been on a roll and everybody want payback
I'm on a dose
We snatching chains where we from
So don't play that
Yeah
Right up to my face
Yeah I know you won't say that
Been on a roll and everybody want payback
I'm on a dose
A comatose with no Maybach
We snatching chains where we from
So don't play that
800 dollar shoes
I let them bitches rip
What a waste of my fuckin' time to contemplate what I'm spittin'
When I'm sittin' I'm always thinkin' how to carry my mission
It makes you sick to your stomach
But I'll take it
I love it
See, no one matters to me
Cause I don't matter to no one
I go harder than a fuckin' Ritalin OD shogun
If I see you walkin' streets you better know how to tote 'em
Cause you lame ass niggas like to talk
But lemme show them
Yeah
Right up to my face
Yeah I know you won't say that
Been on a roll and everybody want payback
I'm on a dose
A comatose with no Maybach
We snatching chains where we from
So don't play that
Yeah
Right up to my face
Yeah I know you won't say that
Been on a roll and everybody want payback
I'm on a dose
A comatose with no Maybach
We snatching chains where we from
So don't play that
In these lyrics, VAllEY is conveying a sense of confidence and assertiveness in the face of potential criticism or confrontation. The line "Right up to my face, Yeah I know you won't say that" suggests that the singer is aware that someone has negative thoughts or opinions about them, but they are not willing to express it directly. This could imply that the singer is confident in their abilities and unfazed by others' negative perception.
The repetition of the line "Been on a roll and everybody want payback" highlights the singer's success and how it may have triggered envy or resentment from others. The phrase "I'm on a dose, A comatose with no Maybach" can be interpreted as the singer being in a state of complete focus and determination, even without the luxuries associated with success (Maybach is a high-end car brand). This might suggest that the singer's drive and ambition are not dependent on material possessions.
The mention of "snatching chains where we from" and the warning "don't play that" could be referencing the tough environment where the singer originates from and how they won't tolerate disrespectful behavior. It suggests that the singer and their community have experienced hardship and are not afraid to defend themselves if necessary.
The second half of the lyrics delve into the singer's perception of self-worth. The mention of expensive shoes and the dismissal of contemplating their worth or impact ("What a waste of my fuckin' time to contemplate what I'm spittin'") conveys a disregard for materialistic value and a focus on their artistic expression instead. Additionally, the line "Cause I don't matter to no one" suggests a sense of detachment or isolation from others' opinions, indicating that the singer's self-validation is not reliant on external validation.
The final lines continue to emphasize the singer's resilience and readiness for any challenge. The comparison of going "harder than a fuckin' Ritalin OD shogun" showcases the intensity and determination the singer possesses. The mention of "lame ass niggas like to talk" and the call to "show them" highlights the singer's ability to back up their words with action, indicating that they are not afraid to confront those who are all talk and no action.
Overall, these lyrics depict an artist who is confident, unapologetic, and resilient in their pursuit of success, while also displaying awareness of their surroundings and a refusal to be disrespected.
