Nashville looked down on Vernon Oxford when this was released branding it 'old fashioned' but the Uk lapped it up. It's actually Real country in the Hank Williams style and has stood the test of time. I think people will look back and appreciate Vernon as the star he truly was and still is.Many thanks for this great post.

Nashville was dominated by terrible pop-country at the time, Vernon was one of few real country singers.

"Old fashioned" is what many of us still enjoy. Vernon is REAL country.

Vernon Oxford is what true country music should sound like. Teddy and Doyle always had great talent, on their shows, and always a great "steeler". Vernon should have been better known, and The Wilburns should be in the CMHOF!

Vernon you're an ambassador to country music as it should be............10/10
