I Don't Care
VFSix Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Walking on the finger tips
I holding on my breath
I know the love always ends
I staying by the window
And I hear tomorrow rain
I remember we were talking
There’s nothing be the same
Lying there
Listening many voices in my head
And I don’t care
What they talk about
Sitting here
You walking on a dark side of the street
And I don’t care
What you think about
Lying naked on the floor
I’ve no feelings anymore
I’m waiting on the phone
But they know nobody’s home
Listening to the voice of rain
Listening and to start a pain
Listening and to keep it cool
Sitting, laughing like a fool
Love is just a prison
But the prison’s to be dream
Love is only a silly game
Is only thing for a free man
Only thing for a free man
Love hurts so much
Cuts so deep love’s so cruel
But I don’t care
I wanted you…
The lyrics to VFSix's song "I Don't Care" depict a sense of detachment and indifference towards the opinions and judgments of others, as well as the emotional pain that love can bring. The singer is seen walking through an empty street, feeling fragile and holding their breath, knowing that love always comes to an end. They reminisce about conversations and moments when everything felt different, but now nothing feels the same.
As the song continues, the singer is lying down, surrounded by voices in their head, yet they don't care about what those voices are saying. They observe someone else walking on a dark side of the street, possibly a metaphor for someone going through a difficult time, but the singer remains unaffected by their thoughts and judgments.
The lyrics also mention the singer being emotionally numb, lying naked on the floor with no feelings left. They wait for someone to call, but deep down they know that nobody will because they are alone. The sound of rain becomes a backdrop to their pain, a reminder of the loneliness they are experiencing. Despite all of this, the singer states that they don't care about the emotional turmoil love brings, as they once desired the person who caused them this pain.
Overall, "I Don't Care" is a portrayal of emotional detachment, resilience, and a refusal to be affected by the opinions and judgments of others. It reflects on the bittersweet nature of love and the singer's ability to maintain a certain level of indifference towards emotional pain.
