A process, in which undefinable but colorful creatures are shaped and given life. The band exists in a grey borderline area of metal, where the musical ideas are portrayed in the clash of the immense, complex and ballistic, and the melancholic, ambient and transparent. VOLA forms pummeling bursts of distortion, itchy synth lines and constantly groove-driven drums entangling wide vocal harmonies, gloomy soundscapes and layers of deep-blue-textured electronica. From a distance this may look like an unhandy and inaccessible being, but it is also a being that you can get to know well, if you step into the frames and take a closer peek. It is not for everybody, but possibly for you. Welcome.
