Previous to VDC Jun was a roadie for PRESENCE and Takeshi was one for Eins:Vier.
They attempted to create an American hard rock sound, and their first album "Saint" was released in February 1993. They then joined BMG Japan and released the album "Parody", and began shedding any image of a Visual Kei band they may have built up. 1997/8(?) saw a switch to Nippon Columbia.
The band called it a day on New Years Eve 1999.
Reformed with Ken-ichi and Jun in July 2007.

Valentine D.C. Lyrics

And the cops are at the door
Bottle rockets in the yard, asking what are they for
The kids are starting shit and it's hard to ignore
Well the punks are on the roof now
Oh yeah!
And somebody's spilled the wine
The record's about to skip but it's staying it time
The girls they've got to piss so they're waiting in line
Happy Birthday to me and you
Happy Birthday to me and you
Happy Birthday to me and you
Happy Birthday to me and you
In Valentine D.C.'s song "Happy Birthday," the lyrics describe a chaotic and rowdy party. The dancing has just begun, and there are already police at the door. Outside, there are bottle rockets being set off, and the kids are causing trouble. Despite all this, the energy at the party is still high, with punks on the roof and wine being spilled. Even though the record is about to skip, it's still keeping the beat. In the midst of all this chaos, the girls are waiting in line for the bathroom, suggesting that this party is overcrowded and overwhelming.
The repetition of "Happy Birthday to me and you" throughout the song makes it seem like the chaos and noise are all part of a birthday celebration. It's a lighthearted and humorous way of describing what could be a stressful situation, and it emphasizes the energy and excitement of the party.
Overall, the song captures the feeling of being at a wild and unforgettable party. It's a celebration of life, friendship, and youth, and it encourages listeners to embrace the chaos and enjoy the moment.
