Value Pac's self-titled debut (also referred to as Down & Out) was released on Tooth and Nail, and was soon followed by Jalapeno on BEC Recordings.
After their first album, Isaiah was replaced by Shawn Humeston. In 1998 Ben Cater left for college and was briefly replaced by Ethan Luck. Shortly after Ryan Sheely's mother died, Value Pac was cut from BEC Recordings due to their failure to tour and meet contractual obligations. Value Pac then signed with Four Door Entertainment. Ryan was joined by Jason Feltman (Fanmail, Rainy Days) on drums and Sean Paul on bass. The band recorded Incognito, which was produced by Social Distortion guitarist Dennis Danell. Value Pac then disbanded. Ryan and Jason still play together in Radio Saints
Come Back

Before I break down and cry
My friends are falling left and right
Was it faith or just an act that got you to the point you're at?
I don't know but I want you back
So just tell me why?
I really want to know
No I am with you 'til the end
Just bring back the old you once again
I never will forget those words from your mouth that I once heard
You don't know how much they hurt
You told me you could care no more
For something you used to live for
This can't be happening to you
So make up your mind there's not much time
The answer is waiting for you
Every knee is gonna bow
And all the people will confess what Jesus Christ is all about
Here's the reason you must know
So you don't become one of those
All by yourself in the end, left wondering why?!
The song "Come Back" by Value Pac deals with the theme of loss and the quest for its restoration. The singer of the song seems to be addressing someone who has fallen away from their faith or their old beliefs, someone who has lost his or her way in life. The song begins with the singer pondering the reason for his friend's abandoning their beliefs, and questioning whether it was due to fate or mere pretense that they have ended up where they are. The singer expresses his desire to have his friend back and seeks answers to the reason behind their crisis.
The chorus of the song is as poignant as it is hopeful. The singer makes a promise to never let his friend of himself go and speaks of restoring the old self of his friend. Here, the lyrics also emphasize the pain that the singer feels upon hearing about his friend's disillusionment with beliefs they once held dear. The song further highlights the importance of faith, and the belief in something greater than oneself. It concludes with the idea that in the end, every person will need to bow down and confess their faith in a higher power, and the importance of having this faith in order not to be left alone wondering why.
Overall, the song evokes a strong sense of nostalgia and compassion, with an emphasis on the importance of support and persistence in times of crisis and loss.

You covered a lot of ground, and impressively so, but let me pick out just a couple items.
-Comparing SDSU football to Utah(pre PAC).
Sure, they are similar in the fact both had/have obvious potential, but 2011 Utah was much further along. Utah was more consistent and their 2004/2008 undefeated BCS busting seasons dwarf anything SDSU has done. Utah was also selling out their 45k+ seat stadium. QUALCOMM on SDSU game day was a cavernous dungeon of undersized poorly spaced empty seats(I hated that stadium, I got a small chubby when they tore it down. TMI?). Anyway, Qualcomm sucked so they opened up 30k+ seat Snapdragon but then struggled to fill it. The promotion to the PAC, and some night games(Jesus! that place was sweltering last year) would help to alleviate some of San Diego's apathy for SDSU. But as things are now, I just can't agree with the Utah comparisons. SDSU is still a little ways off from where Utah was in 2011.
-Adding teams on speculation/ location.
If we're looking at it as an investment, why not consider UNLV? Currently their football is awful but there isn't much difference between a 2-7SMU(early Utah's worst year) and a 1-8 UNLV(my prediction). Vegas is a transient population and Dallas is way bigger, but as I understand it, SMU is located in Dallas but they aren't exactly a Dallas sports team. Still, they are in Texas and there are certain positives about their location. Besides that, I don't see how SMU is a better add(or less bad depending on your perspective) than UNLV. Maybe they add them both, but I hope not.
Thanks for another great video, Mr. McLocked-on.

Bring on the Aztecs. It's their turn. Plus, the fish tacos are epic. Nothing to lose.

Not as a full share member. Your president's quote that SDSU should recieve full share off the bat is hilarious.
Locked On PAC-12
@Richard Mehlhaf They won't be getting a full share right away. No G5 school does

I AM READY FOR IT
Richard Mehlhaf
@Locked On PAC-12 I know that. Just bringing up their president'a quote.
Juan Klein
@Richard Mehlhaf Maybe you should bring up the quote you reference because I’ve searched and can’t find where SDSU’s prez has stated they should or will get a full share.

Spencer, you hit the ball out of the park, again!
Just a note about university presidents. The president of one of my 4 universities, recently changed athletic conferences from a midwestern conference to a southern conference. Her reason? She wants to recruit students from the South rather than the Midwest. She states that's where our university's future lies. The moral is that university presidents look at a very big picture.

I do my best.
And yes, a President's responsibilities INCLUDE athletics but are not LIMITED to athletics

I think both are good fits. I have seen some that don't like the SMU pick up but I remember when SMU was really good before they got hit with the death penalty. Put them in a P5 conference I think they will rise rather quickly and also get good TV ratings. They got the death penalty for basically what NIL is now. I say give them a chance.

I concur!
