Vampire Rodents Lyrics

The time snaps inside the memory
Twist the knife of slavery
Force the knowledge of many things, the reason gives
A silent hand me down, insanity
Whispers things I do not need
To panic stricken, no resolve
Will solve decay
Inside the set of none too tight
Restrict, reset calamity
Eye the prize resist the claim to judge the one
Whose voice is louder than the screams of poverty
Disorder, disorder
Believe, hear, feel, think
Don't destroy the process against the crowd
The proud control the destiny
Of things to come
Tear away the media
Hypodermic cleanse the spirit
Distort the senses
Everything is sad faces
Looking from the dark
To survive in madness for the few
The one, the god
Retaliate the hate
Comes from us manipulate
The game they play break the pain
Bring faith to everything you touch
The feeling of disorder
In "Dowager's Egg" by Vampire Rodents, the lyrics explore the idea of disorder in society and the struggle against it. The opening lines of "disorder, disorder" set the tone for the chaos that follows. The singer talks about how time snaps inside memory and how the knife of slavery twists, forcing the knowledge of many things. The disorder seems to be all-encompassing, affecting the singer in the form of a "silent hand me down" of insanity.
Despite this, the singer urges listeners to resist the claim to judge others, especially those who are louder than the screams of poverty. They encourage people to believe, hear, feel, and think for themselves, to not destroy the process against the crowd. The idea of control over destiny runs through the lyrics, with the "proud" being in charge of what's to come. There's a sense of desperation and struggle for survival, with the singer urging the listener to bring faith to everything they touch, even if it's in the midst of madness.
The feeling of disorder is palpable in these lyrics, and the message seems to be one of resilience and defiance against it. Despite all of the chaos surrounding them, the singer urges listeners to hold onto their own sense of agency and to fight against the manipulation and pain that can come with disorder.
