Infinity
Vampires On Tomato Juice Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Come, get your hands on me
get your hands on me now
come, start the amputee
why should i disallow

I am the cobblestone
you got your vitals from
gut us to the bone

Take all that you need
we´re bearing your greed

It's our fate to be a vampire
for the end of time
and we cry and we cry
when humanity dies

It's our fate to be the truth
in a world full of lies
and we cry and we cry
when the honest ones die

Come, spread apologies
renege your promises
try to make me believe
in all this nothingness

I am the part of us
that causes cancer
we are the cosmic dust

Take all that you need
we´re bearing your greed

It's our fate to be a vampire
for the end of time
and we cry and we cry
when humanity dies

It's our fate to be the truth
in a world full of lies
and we cry and we cry
when the honest ones die

The world's still turning and the shades are growing fast
everyone is in a rush
how long will all things last
please tell me ...

In our hands we carry money like a newborn child
we think we are civilized but we're still in the wild
for the end of time

It's our fate to be a vampire
for the end of time
and we cry and we cry
when humanity dies

It's our fate to be the truth
in a world full of lies

and we cry and we cry
when the honest ones die

Overall Meaning

The song "Infinity" by Vampires On Tomato Juice is a powerful statement on the state of humanity and our impact on the world. The lyrics speak of our greed and the destruction we cause, likening our actions to that of vampires. The opening lines "Come, get your hands on me, get your hands on me now, come, start the amputee, why should I disallow" could be interpreted as the singer pleading with humanity to take responsibility for their actions and the harm they cause to the world.

The chorus "It's our fate to be a vampire for the end of time, and we cry and we cry when humanity dies. It's our fate to be the truth in a world full of lies, and we cry and we cry when the honest ones die" suggests that humanity is doomed to continue down this destructive path, causing harm to the world and ultimately to ourselves. The song speaks to the urgent need for change, for humanity to take responsibility and make a difference before it's too late.

how i love this fucking great band! :)

this sounds way more like system of a down than scars. scars uses a bunch of simple metal riffs to create melody. tuned in drop d. dont get me wrong so does soad, but they add different instrements like a zitaur and acoustics. i can play every single one of scars on broadways songs, but cant play every soad song, and i cant play any of these. what does that tell you, soadjared, and the systemofadownvevo?

Fernando Villalobos

Good song
