Thank you for keeping Van McCoy memory alive by putting his music on here ❤️🙏🏼 omg what fun nights I had at the disco.
@delisaking4100
One of the greatest dance songs ever. I still groove to it today & I'm in my sixties! Such wonderful memories!

This song in my opinion, define the essence of the "DISCO" Revolution. A very well defined song, created by Mr Van McCoy, who left us way to soon. I also, don't think he received the proper recognition within the "elite" pantheon of musical critic's. The "brother" definitely is a musical genius, and he demonstrated his skills by being able to integrate main stream musical "VENUES". THANK, YOU, DJDiscoCat !!!.

@Sally Freeman I remember this tune so much from the roller rink ! The roller rink floor filled up fast when this tune came on .
@Blunt-Man
Well, at least the lyrics are easy to learn. :o)

OMG, I SO agree!

Without a doubt Van McCoy was largely ignored and probably will be best remembered by most people for this one track and possibly the shuffle. He was so much more than that. He was responsible for writing around 700 songs and definately should have more recognition. So sad he died so young..... Just think what may have been

This song gives me the goose bumps EVERYTIME. What a genius! McCoy never even thought it was going to be this huge.
@nggary8322
Precisely! Goosebumps is the most appropriate definition to explain my feelings for this song
