This is the way the world works, according to conventional wisdom.

At times it may feel easier to give up and stop trying altogether.

But my heart just won't buy it.
However, deep within our hearts we know we can't give up on our dreams or on ourselves.

As long as we believe in ourselves and our dreams, we have the strength to keep moving forward.

I'd have to roll myself up in a big ball and die.
Otherwise, we would give up entirely and miss out on all the potential joys and successes that lie ahead.
