I was in love once, ended 3yrs ago in a very unbelievable and senseless way.
Just a few weeks ago, I went with my son to TK maxx to look around and grab a few things, I walked into the best friend of my ex-girlfriend, I said hello and we talked briefly .
Although this was only her best friend, the energy and pain I felt there and then was powerful.
I left the store and went into the car with my son, who of cause of oblivious to the situation.
The pain was more overwhelming as we drove home.
THEN this track came up from my playlist.
The words that struck a cord there and then was "Love takes no less than everything"
When it comes to matters of the heart... the pain consumes you. Sometimes you think you have moved on, only for somethings like music to trigger them, and then you are back to 1.

This takes me back to the early 90's. Damn, I miss those days. It's like now-a-days I'm always worried about something. It probably doesn't help that I'm a drinker, but....Somewhere along the line I lost myself. But this song reminds me that many people out there still have a soul, even if I lost mine through needles, alcohol and other drugs. Oh well. My hope is that someday I will live again, even if I suffer for my selfish sins of lust. I treat people nicely but every day I feel the pain.
