The term Various Artists is used in the record industry when numerous singers and musicians collaborate on a song or collection of songs. Most often on Last.fm, compilation album tracks appear under the name of Various Artists erroneously because the individual artist is not listed in the album's ID3 information.

Sometimes, single releases may be credited to Various Artists when their profits are going to charity and, usually in high-profile cases, are sometimes known by a group name. Examples include Band Aid with their releases of Do They Know It's Christmas? and USA for Africa with We Are The World.

Various Artists is also an actual performance name for Torsten Pröfrock, who runs the German DIN label. Torsten performs also as Dynamo, Erosion, Resilent, Traktor besides some others. He's a good friend of Robert Henke and since the Fall of 2004, he is a member of Monolake.

Various Artists was also a short-lived Bristol punk band formed by brothers Jonjo and Robin Key (originally from Birmingham). Other members were also simultaneously in Art Objects who went on to become The Blue Aeroplanes, the latter the Key brothers also co-wrote some songs and were involved in. When Various Artists imploded, the Key brothers went on to form Either / Or.

Various Artists also appear on tracks from musical theater soundtracks, due to the nature of having many cast members on one song, as well as an ensemble in some cases.

We all need to cry sometimes because we are human and humans have feelings and Always remember a rainbow doesn't show up without rain and sun. But don't cry everyday like I used to do. It's not good for the health and it can make you suicide. Always remember there is always a new day. I new sunny day. Remember that : once you hurt someone, they will never forget! I've been always treated differently, I don't think I could say I was bullied cause I think it would offend people who were seriously bullied, but people used to say that since I was fat and I had this personality no one would love me, and I would never have friends. It still hurt, I still hate myself, but I'm not gonna let them win, I'm amazing even if I don't realize that, and it's the same for all of you! You are amazing.

I love this song so much.... I've been bullied as well, just like everyone else. But, it was by the one person I loved. And, I almost died because of it. But since then, I've learned a lot. And I kicked him out of my life. And now I found someone I'm the happiest with :) and me and him are going to be happy together :D it always makes me feel so guilty when my parents scrape food into the garbage or when my friends poke holes in their water bottles and put water everywhere because that food and that clean water could save lives. Yet we take it for granted. It's sad how we think of ourselves instead of others. Some day I want to go out and give food to homeless people. Or give out roses to random people and tell them how beautiful they are, just to make them smile.

This song has a great message, and I'm sure a lot of people feel very strongly about the message of this song, whether they have been bullied or not. What we all need to remember is that we have all been a bully at least once in our lives, whether for a few seconds or even more. Everybody should think about their actions, your actions may not seem hurtful to you, but they could really hurt someone else. We should try to stop bullying, but remember to practise what you preach.

I would always listen to this song and I just loved it, I never really noticed how empowering it really is until I saw the video. Not gonna lie, I cried while watching this. Bullying, sure it happens, but no one reaches out. Sure, online or around people, people say that they'll stand up for you if you're getting bullied, but when you need them most, they do nothing. It isn't fair for victims of bullying to be given a promise of a rescue, when no one's coming. I myself do get depressed, a lot, and it hurts, especially, because the one's I thought would never hurt me, did. The one's who said that they would always be there for me, are never there. I'm not trying to sound selfish, I'm saying this for like everyone who gets bullied. It's not fair for you to make a promise you're not going to keep. Promises are meant to be kept, lies aren't.

Jessie Le Fey - I finished high school and I'm currently in my first year of college. I'm a lot stronger now. I forgot to mention that I'm way over that while memory of being bullied. I used to feel pain every time I think about it. But now I don't feel anything but brave in knowing for the future when I get faced with something as bullying as I would know how to react and handle those kind of situations.

I got bullied a lot as a kid by the kids at school and by some of the teachers its not easy but one day they'll be gone from your life . And the friends that count are the ones that are there keep looking forward don't let them beat your spirit in the end you will be the happy one and the bullies will cross the wrong person and get what, they deserve.

Never get the victim mentality, you only limit yourself, you are a force, no one can take that away from you. In the game of life, it doesn't matter what others "think" of you, it is how you think of yourself that matters, be a Survivor, never a victim. Bullys are often victims in their own homes, I figured that out a long time ago and maybe helped a few bullies out w/my stubbornness and never giving up.
