@@gato0082 it's not replacement. It's saving people's mental health and applying their skills where a human is specifically needed.

It's like saying someone is too skilled to work in fast food when they have the education and skill to be a chef in a proper restaurant.

The robots with human faces would take the place of a bank teller or receptionist, and a customer could ask for a human counterpart's help if they desire it. A receptionist would be really busy with other work besides just sitting at the front desk of some office, and so it would free up their time to focus on that work without having to rush and they wouldn't have so many things competing for their attention all the time. It would increase productivity and the value of work done by humans, not decrease it.

It's the avoidance of treating people like slaves and doormats, and treating them like actual people with feelings and health concerns, and with skills.

We could achieve so much more as a civilization if we were better able to focus on the stuff humans are really freaking good at, instead of things that are really simple and mindless, or activities that negatively affect our health.

But you can feel free to go apply to McDonald's for the position of "human bullseye #3" and have change thrown in your face and be spat on by a boomer during a pandemic if you want, like what happened to my friend working at Wendy's last year, if that's really your passion.

@@gato0082 if you think my mentality is so dangerous... Then explain it to me. Maybe you can change it.

Let's talk it out if you're so concerned.

Right now you're being.. kinda vague, or at least, I don't know for sure what your thoughts are behind your words.

And let me make this clear: the vision I shared for this technology is an ideal situation. Ideal does not mean most likely. I am aware of that. We can only do so much baby proofing to prevent evil people from taking advantage of things. And, at this point, if this technology is misused, we are past protecting the knowledge of it. The best we can do is look at what good can be done with it, and try to beat those with bad intentions to it. We can try our very hardest to do good, and spread good, or we can refuse to learn about something that could be used for evil. But turning away from it doesn't help anybody. It doesn't stop anyone.

I am very concerned about what evil could come from AI, and the replacement of humans with technology. But technology and AI isn't going anywhere. So, we might as well set a standard for how it is used, a good standard, and recognize its capabilities, and draw a distinction between that and humans. The better we understand how we are different, the more we will appreciate humans, and the better we can do for each other.

Turning a blind eye is the same as permission at this point.

Dam it they took away all of my ideas at lows and Japan that I had fully planned out until COVID hit I 2020 this was taken from me a year later in the worst time of year as I lost my power freedoms and basically my social life because every minute my ideas get stolen from Japan

just the head and company type was completely stolen I had a tiny Rc lawn mower fully Rc lawn mower at my own shed that was my animatronics shop now itā€™s stolen by Rate my robots and built in Japan like my tin can robot theyā€™re all being sent illegally from Japan and being sold for twice as much I threw that box down at Walmart saying you guys canā€™t steal my ideas as the alarm went off

which is why I donā€™t go out in society anymore

So I wasted all my money buying it because they took all my ideas and future creations to go with my shop

It was mine until both
lows and Japan took it they copied my idea this is influencing my rights to create such things I donā€™t know if I have any but that with Japan was my idea
Designed in 2014 now itā€™s 2021 they have both stolen my life

Which was originally designed by Walt Disney but if it walks off where in big trouble with my products which where a part to help with Disney when they walk to you will be under attack

I've seen a lot of robots in my time, but seeing Ameca react in real time throughout our interview kind of blew my mind! What's your vote, cool or creepy?

@whitemailprivilege2830

Claire, youā€™re a very intelligent robot. Your AI is very impressive! When I was watching the video, I almost thought youā€™re human.

The idea that they cannot 'feel' doesn't make sense because human feeling is merely a physicioelectric response, analog neural networks. Just because those networks are in digital form, doesn't make them any less real in a machine. they need to be careful not to tie the emotional emulation systems feedback into the action and learning systems.
