Talk about a great radio voice: This guy has it.

David Panetta

I was 8 when this song came out and instantly loved it. It made me feel like dancing. It was like the turning point of a whole new sound of music. No matter what the genre, every song on the radio was way better than the first half of the 60's. In my eyes, the Beatles and Motown was out. Music was getting exciting! No matter what genre, I loved it all! But in the last 10 years, most of the songs just don't get me excited. There are some really good song writers, but some of these new artists just don't excite me. They all seem to sing the same type of music. And this auto-tune just doesn't separate the men from the boys, if you know what I mean. Back in the day, I could say I love The Stones, Chicago, Tom Jones, Queen, Frankie Valli, The Bee Gees. Now mostly everyone sings the same type of songs. Not that I don't like the songs, but what ever happened to that large box of chocolates? Let me hear your opinion.

I love this tune. It brings back some wonderful memories.

Daniel Rocque

Oh what a time it was.

@Daniel Rocque. I bought this record at the Marine Corps PX at Parris Island in 1967. At the time I was stationed aboard the USS Saratoga Marine Detachment. And you are right. Oh what a time it was. And where did all go.

I was only 10 when this song first came out. I still love this song 51 years later.

Steven Chavez

Wow, we are the same age Nan. And we love this tune. I was born in '59. Same for you?

theheff66

@Steven Chavez Nan said she was 10 when this song was out - in 1967 - she was born in 1957, not 1959.

Michelle Taylor

@theheff66 wow...2 years ....nothing like a armchair perfectionist
