@Shirio77 Chinese folk music was influenced by ancient Persian music to some degrees and we also modified some Persian misical instruments into our folk music. In ancient China, Chinese were in great favour in Persian music and dance.

Chi-Ho Chan

It is the best version that I have heard before.

Love the music and video, thx for sharing

@finestfresh You are damn right! We Chinese never looked down upon Persians! Instead, we were fully inspired and engaged with Persian civilisation both in Iran and Tarim Basin. No matter Iranians or Tajiks, or previous East Iranian tribes emerged into Uyghurs. They cheered up the whole Tang Dynasty with its rich music and dance, Buddhism art and culture, handicraftship and science.

What a good mixture!

cannot believe Anlushan was considered to be Uighur. He was born in Central Asia, now Central Uzbekistan and North Tajikstan. He had a mixed blood of Sogdian and Sak, or maybe Kyrgyz, Uighur or Hun. But he was recognised as a Sogdian from Sarmakand or Tashkent in Chinese history record following his paternal (father) bloodline.
