Dang, I was going through old stuff I did on Google Docs and there was this poem I wrote in 2017 that this song inspired outta 17 year old me:

A lovely day to go walking
By the stores with their antiques
Laid out by the window
As strollers pass by
They give off a certain nostalgia
With the innocence in the glimmering infant’s eye
As the cool breeze of the wind carries them
And the chill of the sea carries pleasant scents
To relax me
And yet, somehow-I feel uneasy
A sense of eyes are watching me
With each step I make towards my destination-
The beating of my heart is unsteady-
The trembling of my voice continues to shake-
The quick pacing in my eyes continue to wonder-
Still, there is no one behind me
Who’s presence is this that I feel is lurking upon me
Ready to make their final attack

aaannd that's all past me wrote, I felt proud of this and just wanted to throw it out there since poetry isn't something I'm good at or do 😗

Written in 1967 and released in 1968. A perfect theme for a Hitchcock movie.
The one and only Bernard Hermann

@OxieBoy

Herrmann's work for Hitchcock is different.

@garywoollard810

Hitchcock and Hermann had parted by 1968 the music is for Ray Boulting movie but this just proves Hitchcock was wrong saying Hermanns score for Torn curtain movie was dated hence he used John Addison score.

@axaygiri

@@garywoollard810not a fan of Hitchcock. His style was plain and ordinary, even for those days.

@amityislandchum

Hermann was an absolute genius.

@miniwarriorsdo

It supposed to be scaring music ,but it's actually pretty relaxing

@alissonlares2926

The idea is not to scary, but create the feeling of unexpectancy, unpredictability.

@kaleahcollins4567

I think its beautifully crafted work . I want to see a ballet interpret this song

@kaleahcollins4567

It's like a relationship in the beginning. it's sunshine and roses , and after time, all that fades people grow apart things happen

@crystalblueshield7253

The end is kinda surprising and a bit scary... but the begining... it's too adorable... ❤
