1968 at the Copacabana My friend's father knew the owner and we went through the kitchen just like Ray Liotta and Lorraine Bracco. We tipped everyone at each door.and they called for the table to be placed in the front. We saw the Temptations a great show. People were looking at us 19 year old kids. The only thing missing was the Crystals singing "And Then He Kissed Me"

Phil worked for YEARS to develop and perfect the concept, and boy, did he succeed. He just over compensates in aggression, talks a lot, is more hyper, & just looks fluffy cute. My other one is calm, more quiet, more sweet, & more plain looking. But hes like the guys guy. Hey Jim, you think of Adventures in Babysitting and I think of Goodfellas when Henry and Karen enter the nightclub by the kitchen entrance. Brilliantly shot IMO. Truth be known, I've never seen Goodfellas. Was that a movie about crooked cops or a movie about the mob?? If it's not Darlene Love singing, then it must be LaLa Brooks? For a look at Phil Spector early in his career, see The Teddy Bears To know him is to love him posted by Jason Heaton. Annette, Phil & Marshall were seniors in high school or just out of high school when the song was recorded. Great love song from 1958. Powerful vocals for a young lady only in her upper teens at the time.

You have never seen Goodfellas? It's a mob movie based on Henry Hill who had close ties to the mob. It's one of my all time favorite movies and the soundtrack is to die for. Toni, My goodness, You are correct about the soundtrack from Goodfellas. Looked up two versions, one had 30 songs and the other 39. Some were deleted videos on BOTH lists, but I like a bunch of THOSE songs. Might have to buy the movie CD, just for the music !! It looked like Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci & Ray Liotta were among the main characters from a still picture. The song by The Who, Magic Bus ROCKS !!! Probably my favorite The Who song. :-)

In 1963 at a hootenanny at Dunedin High School I spotted the most beautiful girl. I made a fool of myself and though she would never have anything to do with me. Well on the day that JKF was killed we had our first date. Her mother didn't. think I was good enough for her daughter. we kept seeing each other then one night on Clearwater Beach I kissed her The song says it all. in 1966 we were married. 2/16/23 she passed away.
Oh how I miss her When i listen to this song I feel her beside me. Oh I'm misty but I think of the wonderful 57 yrs we had. I tell our four daughters listen to this song and it says it all of how it all began. Miss you Bettye Jo.
