Overall Meaning

The song "Hand Throw" by Venetian Snares is a mix of hip hop and jungle music. The lyrics are delivered in a vocal style that can be understood as a Jamaican patois, but some words are unclear. The lyrics seem to be promoting the Camp One Robert and Civilizing Foundation organizations and proclaiming their superiority as the number one sound in Belgium and Norway. The singer speaks about his physical characteristics, as he describes himself as slim and not fat. The lyrics also reference various drugs and violence.

The song is largely open to interpretation, but it seems to be a commentary on the Jamaican music scene and the role of deejays, or emcees, within it. The song appears to be making a statement about the authenticity of different deejays and their ability to maintain their cultural roots. The song could also be interpreted as a critique of the commercialization of Jamaican music, referencing the use of drugs and violence as part of that culture and the desire to maintain a certain level of authenticity.

The heaviest song I've ever heard is officially not a metal song.

@Chimp Scape Eh. True, honestly. I like some metal but I find a lot of it is pretty one-note grimdark where I'd rather have metal be a bipolar rollercoaster of colors and emotions that "rocks my soul" so-to-speak. I am, however, a huge fan of prog metal bands such as Animals as Leaders, Sithu Aye, Intervals, Polyphia, and others like it, as well as some power metal and European folk metal, because I feel like those aren't as one-note. I'm also a big fan of a lot of instrumental VG metal covers from guys like RichaadEB, TheOnlyDeerAlive, or GaMetal. Maybe it's just my bias showing through, and I haven't explored it enough, idk.

Chimp Scape

Lol you ain't listened to much metal then I see

@{pseudonym} Cheatin' is my favorite, but I think in terms of craziest I'd have to go for Meta Abuse.

Heard VSnares play Hand Throw live (I was near the front of the stage screaming “Haaaand Throwwww!!!” beforehand and actually think it paid off) and I nearly lost my mind. Massive track - A Funk’s music sounds the way I feel

Played last half to jumpstyle-ish family relatives yesterday, they still did hakken from 04:18 onwards after genuinely asking if there was a problem with playing and asking to skip
EDIT : that track almost 20 y/o, shit
