1) 'Version' is a project by producers Charles Webster and and Martin 'Atjazz' Iveson. http://versionsounds.com
2) 'Version' refers to the instrumental backing every reggae track. Traditionally, the track with artist would be on Side A of a 45-RPM record; the "riddim" version of same track would appear on Side B. In modern times, where MP3s are much more popular than vinyl, the riddim appears at the end of a riddim release CD or MP3 release.
1) Both Charles and Martin are already releasing their own music and have been for some time now, Charles through many different monikers, Love From San Francisco, Furry Phreaks, Lo;Rise and his label Miso Records and Martin through his own label Mantis Recordings.
Martin and Charles met around 10 years ago in London. Their friendship took a while to come to fruition but when i t did they found by working together they bring out different ideas and styles in each other, both in the studio, behind the decks and in a live situation ....so...why not work together !!!

Wonderful! Great job! And as a child of the 80โs, forever connected with China Beach! Loved the intro!

That Bassline is no joke!
Itโs driving the whole track.๐๐

Fabulous tune, Motown never failed to deliver great hits.
The Supremes were great to have on the radio singing the tales of life, love and romance

The ๐ Cat strikes again! You made this Monday morning so special. I was 13 growing up in Michigan when this song came through the air on CKLW 800 & 89 WLS. I've always wished for a respectable remix and you, the Cat genie came through again. Thanks dj brother ๐

I was 11 years old when this was released here in the Midwest. I remember the teens, and young adults jamming to this classic song from the "Supremes." The 60's here in the Chi was a great time for R&B, and family togetherness. The beautiful music from that era, brought parents and teens together. I miss those days of family unity here in the "HOOD."

I was your age when I first heard this, when ABC first aired "China Beach".
