What exactly is it that is vibrating? Can it be measured? If we look at the strings on a piano, we can see and measure what is vibrating and the rate of vibration. People in the self-help community use the term vibration metaphorically rather than literally. None of this has anything at all to do with vibrations.

This is so great. I’m a musician and I have always wanted to perform on stage. I then started practicing and jokingly said “this would be me when playing live”. I then got my first ever gig. I was soo excited.

My mom is a gossiper, just as her mom before her. I was conditioned to be one, but recognized pretty young that it didn't make me feel good when I did gossip. So I've consciously tried to steer away from it, until I'm around my mom again, and then I find myself sucked back in. It's those damn negative behaviors ingrained from childhood that are so hard to shake.

And the crazy thing is, the more you allow that suffering to happen when it needs to, the faster you can bounce back up to those higher vibrations. Any time I experience some kind of pain, the easier it is to go back up when it happens because I know how to get back to that point.

Wow. That all made so much sense. I tend to live in Shame and Guilt and a state of chronic major depression, and it absolutely is suffering. I couldn’t tell you the last time I felt excited. I can visit other states but always revert back. You’ve given me some great ideas to try, thank you 🙏

That chart is bad ass! I finally read one of his books, healing, and recovery after I’ve been hearing about him from people for 10 or 15 years, power versus force, letting go and others. Absolutely makes so much sense! And I realized why it was so hard to break out of the lower vibration patterns, and how much more I had been in them than I thought, after being in recovery for so long… And also why Esther Hicks and others talk about this in terms of not judging where other people are at, or ourselves! Sometimes anger is a better option, at least there is some movement in energy in it, versus apathy and despair.

Love that book Power vs Force. So agree that raising vibration is about getting rid of what’s weighing you down. Like to think of it as being in a hot air balloon that won’t fly. Nothing you put in it will lift you off the ground it’s about getting rid of the heavy stuff that’s holding you back.

I'm going through almost exactly the same experience you described in this video and I just transitioned into the acceptance/reasoning stage and I was able to identify each stage previous to this one with ease. The Hawkins Emotional Frequency Scale is a good general reference point, thanks Clark Great info! . The secret to raising your frequency is learning how to cultivate the frequencies of the heart, once that happens everything changes and you're baseline shoots way up. You can't just "let go", the human brain doesn't do that based upon 200K years of survival instinct but you can work with the heart-brain connection, change your habitual responses and then letting go becomes much easier. BTW just as a point of clarity according to Elisabeth Kubler-Ross where we get the stages of grief there are 5 stages of grief, not 7. Great vid..lots of love....

@@bp51082 what you’re saying is that we had our initial awakenings around the same time. Mine was ‘78… and it was anything but glamorous as many new age gurus profess. with enhanced spiritual skills and abilities I became increasingly isolated from people, wound up doing some jail time, wound up being addicted to drugs. But I do not judge myself and neither should you. You started to get this exactly when you were supposed to. And OMG not too many get this but cultivating the heart is so freaking life-changing that I am convinced this is the new spiritual buzz of the 2020s.

@@TheMediumChannel Thanks for sharing. The truth is when I was younger, lots of really wobbly and woo woo stuff started to happen, where I didn't feel like I had any grounding and it was too much. Things happening right after I talked about them, spirits and shadow people hanging around, electrical anomalies, involuntary out of body experiences nearly every day, etc etc. I shut it down intentionally and lived a way more material, New York kind of lifestyle for years. I feel like the reason it's appropriate now is that I'm sufficiently grounded and mature to be able to cope with what's to come.

I mean I wasn’t going out of body or having electrical anomalies but I was moving things with my mind, a picture of people in my mind an old Waze meet them that same day, I was seeing auras around people and honestly I was in college, my idea of a spiritual experience of smoking weed lol. So good for you and getting grounded and now owning your gifts.

Responsibility is a big one too. If you don’t take responsibility you tend to be blameful and angry over situations because you attribute it to external things. If you view more objectively and have responsibility in it, you see it different and can find positives more easily and be more neutral :)

the exception to this is trauma and narcissistic abuse. if in early age your sense of self was hijacked by narcissistic caregivers, you HAVE to reclaim that and clear the lies they seeded your mind with. otherwise you will repeatedly be pulled into that state of helplessness and self-hatred by cPTSD triggers, and the "it's your fault for not taking responsibility" idea will only add insult to injury.

2 additions that help me. And may help one other person or so in the comments with me 😉 Using audio books or music to spark instant imagination. I find it helps pull myself up when I feel myself not slipping but spiraling.
Also literally feeding my inner child self’s souls with occasional play and/or marshmallow cereal. (Not every day of course) But,
that kid still resides in my soul deep down and they had some bad days. As, I am sure, yours did as well. They deserve a treat or a break.
And the adult me instantly is reminded of how far I have come.

What I remember learning is that when your vibing high you feel light like you can fly and the opposite for low vibe you feel heavy and don't feel like you can fly.

I teach voice techniques (opening up the body - chest/ribcage/throat) to get you from low to high vibe. The body is the vessel to help you get there physically to help attain these mental states. That is literally the connection between spirituality and physical practicality. Love your content!

I love this video!! I understand now that most of my life I lived at a lower habitual vibration. Recently, I've been learning to dig deep inside myself to really understand where most of my negativity came from. That has helped me to let go and start vibrating at a higher habitual state. Looking forward to the Letting Go video to see what else I can be doing.

I realized today that I have voluntary piloerection which is when you can control shivers and goosebumps at will. With this skill I've used it to increase my vibrational awareness during meditation because the sensation feels like you're vibrating. Using this helpful video with this skill I can tell I'll be able to stay at a high vibe!

What I do love most about this video is that some days earlier I was asking myself, if energy work (like I used to practise some years ago) could help work myself out of my current mental state (there's some massive sh*t going on in my life which I can't control but at the same time kinda feel unable to surrender to). Seems like Spirit just sent you my way to give me a friendly hint ☺🙏
