The lyrics of Vicki Zhao's song Wo Men describes the journey of two people who are searching for their true selves while traveling together. The repetition of the phrase "wo men" reinforces the idea that they are in this journey together. They fly away from their troubles, looking for a place that is not affected by the wind, and holding onto the sun and the moon, they search for the perfect state of mind. The search for the white cloud's hometown represents the search for home, for a place where they belong. They are unaware of their own limitations or their own shortcomings, but as they wander, they start to understand the insignificance of their own existence in the universe, represented by the vast landscape and the stars.
The song's lyrics are open to interpretation, but one can surmise that the duo is searching for meaning and purpose in their lives while traveling together. They find beauty in the simplicity of life and acknowledge the importance of having someone to share it with. The song's message is that, in life's journey, it is important to have someone to share it with, as the journey itself is what's essential, not the destination. The emotions in the lyrics are accentuated by Vicki Zhao's calming voice and the song's gentle melody.
