Hearing Victor Silvester always reminds me of my Mum and Dad.....i remember one occasion i came home from school around 4:45 and this was around the early to mid '50's i walked thru the front door and heard music coming from the front room so i popped my head round the door and what i saw was all the furniture had been pushed to the side of the room the rug was rolled up and standing in the corner and there was my Mum and Dad dancing to VS....they were oblivious to me being there but both were caught up in the moment. I had never seen anything so beautiful in my life. Miss you Mum and Dad X

I was in my early twenties and (BALLROOM) danced to this tune at college dances 1953-56, in the UK. We had done 2 years national service (compulsory military service before). Those were the "good old days" no X. no Y etc

My mother lived Victor's music from the 1930s...she lived Maria Elena especially...do you have it by chance ?
