Nomads Of The Night
Victory Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

One last ray of light
Here comes the night
Wrestle it all of my life
Need somewhere to sleep
Same dead end street
No one knows my personal strife
As rain pours down
The cold wind blows

There's no rest tonight
Trouble in sight
No end to this perilous fight
It's dead of night
And we're gonna fight

They say lay down
Stay down
Been kicked around
We're lost and never found

We wanna run for the light
But we fight
We are the nomads of the night
This jungle we must survive

It is my only crime
Wrong place and time
Got no dime but paying the price
But all this pain
Won't get me down

Sweat hard from the heat
Fear on the street
Be strong or you're down for the count
It's dead of night
And we're gonna fight

They say lay down
Stay down
Been kicked around
We're lost and never found

We wanna run for the light
But we fight
We are the nomads of the night
This jungle we gotta survive
Gotta survive

We wanna run for the light
But we fight
We are the nomads of the night
This jungle we gotta survive
Gotta survive

We wanna run for the light
But we fight
We are the nomads of the night
This jungle we gotta survive
Gotta survive

We wanna run for the light
But we fight
We are the nomads of the night

This jungle we gotta survive
Gotta survive

Overall Meaning

In these lyrics, the singer is describing a life of constant struggle and fighting. The first verse sets the scene with the last bit of daylight giving way to the night, and the singer feeling like they have been wrestling with something their entire life. They need a place to rest, but they are stuck on the same dead end street with personal struggles that no one else knows about. The rain pours down and the wind blows, and there is no rest in sight. The singer feels like trouble is always around the corner, and there is no end to the fight.

The chorus then comes in with a defiance against the people who tell them to lay down and stay down, saying that they have been kicked around and lost, but they refuse to give up. They want to run towards the light, but they have to fight to survive in this jungle of a world. The second verse highlights how the singer feels like they are paying the price for being in the wrong place at the wrong time with no money, but the pain won't bring them down. They have to sweat hard from the heat of the fight and fear on the streets. They have to be strong, or they'll be knocked out.

Этому женщину не нужен такой муж как Касим. Она все работы по дому сама может сделать. ❤❤❤

@user-ol2py3hm9o

Может вы и правы,но детям?

@nenitarapanut7045

User you really does not like Qasim, most of your comments are negative ,you can stop watching if so

@user-sc3wk7ip4k

Я думаю, что он хороший человек, вы зря так думаете, посмотрите как он аккуратно всё делает, с детьми ласков, они молодые и ещё много времени у них..

@user-go5ow2mu4e

Why do people feel the need to criticise, we are privileged to see how they live, their culture has survived for thousands of years. Who are we to say they are doing something wrong. I admire these people, making a life in these adverse conditions . Love this channel and the one of the neighbour, her sister .❤❤❤❤❤❤

yes but its not real,its business for the family,this people are not true iranians they are immigrants who came from other countries,they are called nomadic,this is how they earn money.the real iranians are not doing this,

@Geta.5-Georgeta.6

@@carolinalingbawan4642 Yes, they are nomadic Iranians, not immigrants, all the peoples of the world have gypsies, and America and Europe, Australia, all the continents, have this nomadic population. It has always been like that. They are marginalized, because of their culture and traditions.
