Blast
Viper Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I listen almost everyday
To the same lies hitting my face
That will be better in the end
But I don't really give a damn
I trust a lot in who I am
That's the only way
Blast!
I know I know you're waiting
But I'm not gonna be waiting
Waiting for the time
That you blast me
It took some time to realize
If you don't kill sometimes you die
I use the weapons that I have
So if you wanna fuck 'em all
You gotta make 'em beg and crawl
That's my way
Blast!
I know I know you're waiting
But I'm not gonna be waiting

Waiting for the time
That you blast me

Overall Meaning

Viper's song "Blast" speaks to the importance of staying true to oneself and owning one's power in the face of adversity. The singer acknowledges the constant stream of lies that they hear, promising a better future, but chooses to trust in their own identity instead of blindly following the status quo. The word "blast" serves as a metaphor for those who seek to tear the singer down or hold them back, but the singer is not going to wait around to be blasted. Instead, they will use the tools they have to survive and thrive. The lines "If you don't kill sometimes you die" and "You gotta make 'em beg and crawl" suggest a willingness to do what it takes to defend oneself, though it's unclear exactly what "weapons" the singer is using.

Overall, "Blast" encourages listeners to be confident in who they are and to fight for their own success, even when others may try to bring them down.

how many storage does it take? everything

@phdnk

Why is the blast wave not hemispherical but three-tired shape ? It seems to be inherent for surface bursts of arbitrary yield: both nuclear and chemical.

@shamancredible8632

my guess is it has to do with shape of the charge and reflected explosive gasses

@dylanhall670

Bernoulli pressure. The pressure gradient caused by the moving gasses going straight up causes a pressure differential which allows fluid to be forced upwards easier. Same principle that lets planes fly.

55million cells computed in half an hour?

That too in a laptop?

@anand521

I think he should have used OpenFoam/BlastFoam which is a programming-based simulation in Ubuntu and it takes lesser time than Ansys fluent but still, 55 mil cells in half an hour is sus.
