Born 1982 in Linares, Jaén, Virginia Maestro Díaz was vocalist of unsigned bands like Little Vicky & the Shout Band, The Flik Flak Duo or Boogie Flu.
Once at Operación Triunfo's Academy, Virginia was nicknamed as 'la Niña Azul' ('the Blue Girl') after her deep blue eyes and delicate figure.
