Production credits include tracks for Jill Scott, Vikter Duplaix, Ultra Naté, Terry Callier, Ursula Rucker, and Shaun Escoffery, to name a few and he has a long list of remixes under his belt from Masters At Work to John Coltrane.
Visioneers music is the sound of Hip-Hop and Jazz in a head-on collision, this is most demonstrated on tracks like Ikes Mood and versions of the classic Nas - The World Is Yours and Pharcyde Runnin.
The project features the talents of Brad Somatik and 4hero drummer Luke Parkhouse and features guest vocals from rappers Capitol A and Voice.
Marc explains: "The Visioneers idea was in my head long before we recorded the first record. Visioneers is not a band its a studio project. I want to pay respect to hip-hop producers like DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jay Dee and Pete Rock for introducing me to Jazz and I needed to produce the tracks like hip hop records that sound phat in a club and not like dinner Jazz, its about reclaiming Jazz."
Marc started releasing a set of limited 7" singles getting the attention of some the top eclectic DJ's including DJ Jazzy Jeff, Kenny Dope, Gilles Peterson, & Norman Jay. Visioneers was then picked up by BBE records who released the debut album Dirty Old Hip Hop, with great success.
Following on from the success of "Dirty Old Hip Hop," Marc returns with a new Visioneers record titled Hipology. "Hipology is a collage of some of my personal influences as a DJ/Producer growing up listening to Hip Hop; a real eclectic mix of Breaks, Beats, Soul, Jazz, and freaky squeaks and not a sampler in sight. Visioneers is about revisiting my love for Hip Hop; What is was and what it is; the musical influences and the culture..." Hipology was released on BBE Records, on June 12, 2012, and features guest spots from John Robinson, TRAC & Baron, Notes to Self, Luke Parkhouse, & The Ariya Horns.

Can't keep runnin' away
[Fat Lip]
I must admit on some occasions I went out like a punk
And a chump or a sucker or something to that effect
Respect I used to never get when all I got was upset
When niggas use to be like 'What's up fool!' and tried
Recall crip niggas throwin' c in my face down the hall
I'm kickin' it in the back of the school eatin' chicken at
Three, wonderin' why is everybody always pickin' on me
I tried to talk and tell tham chill I did nothing to deserve
This But when it didn't work I wasn't scared just real
Nervous and unprepared to deal with scrappin' no doubt
Cause my pappy never told me how to knock a nigga out
But now in 95 I must survive as a man on my own Fuck
Around with Fatlip yes ya get blown I'm not trying to show
No macho is shown but when it's on, if it's on, then it's on!
[Chorus: x4]
[Slim Kid Tre]
There comes a time in every mans life when he's gotta
Handle up on his own Can't depend on friends to
Help you in a squeeze, please they got problems of their
Own Down for the count on seven chickens shits don't
Get to heaven til they faced these fears in these fear
Zones Used to get jacked back in high school I played
It cool just so some real shit won't get full blown Being
Where I'm from they let the smoke come quicker than an
Evil red-neck could lynch a helpless colored figure And
As a victim I invented low-key til the keyhole itself got
Lower than me So I stood up and let my free form form
Free. Said I'm gonna get some before they knockin' out me.
I don't sweat it I let the bullshit blow in the breeze
In other words just freeze
[Chorus: x4]
[Knumbskull #1]
It's 1995 now that I'm older stress weighs on my shoulders
Heavy as boulders but I told ya
Till the day that I die I still will be a soldier and that's all I told
Ya and that's all I showed ya
And all this calamity is rippin' my sanity
Can it be I'm a celebrity
Whose on the brink of insanity
Now don't be wishin's of switchin' any positions with me
Cause when you in my position, it ain't never easy
To do any type of maintaining cause all this gaming and famin' from
Entertainin' is hella straining to the brain and
But I can't keep running I just gotta keep keen and cunnin'
[Repeat: x13]
Cant keep runnin' away
The song "Runnin'" by Visioneers features a sample of the classic song by the same name from The Pharcyde. The lyrics talk about the struggles and challenges of coming-of-age as a young black man in the 1990s. The chorus "Can't keep runnin' away" is a reminder that running away or avoiding problems is not a solution, and that one must face them head-on to grow and learn from them.
In the first verse, Fat Lip talks about being bullied and picked on by others, and feeling unprepared to defend himself. He also mentions his absent father, who never taught him how to fight. However, he asserts that he is not afraid to fight back if necessary in order to survive.
In the second verse, Slim Kid Tre reflects on how he used to keep a low profile to avoid getting into trouble, but eventually realized that he needed to stand up for himself and face his fears. He also talks about the systemic racism and violence faced by people of color in his community.
In the final verse, Knumbskull #1 discusses the pressures and stresses of being a celebrity, and how maintaining fame can take a toll on one's mental health. He acknowledges that he cannot keep running away from these challenges and must find a way to cope with them.
Overall, "Runnin'" is a powerful message of resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity.
