In 2005, Vitalic's debut album, OK Cowboy was released on Different / PIAS Recordings. Pascal states that all of the instruments used in the album are synthesized. His official website states that "the only thing he can't fake is the emotion that galvanizes his music."
His song "Trahison" from OK Cowboy was used in the trailer for the 2007 French film Naissance des Pieuvres. His song "Poney Part 1" was featured in the Pleix film Birds. It was announced by Festival Republic that Vitalic would be playing both the Reading and Leeds Festivals in the UK in August 2009.
Vitalic's second studio album Flashmob was released in 2009. The first single, "Your Disco Song" is available for streaming at Vitalic's MySpace page. He has spoken a great deal about the new disco influence on Flashmob.

Golden Bells
Well the choirs were singing and the candles they were burning
And the lantern girls and alter boys were crossed and cleaned
And my baby and me watched the prayers go higher and higher
As we sadly, slowly, surely took our leave
We we're crying then
Hearing golden bells
So we walked the long mile from the chapel gates
And i felt her warm in my hand as the wind drew us faster
We had no names or flowers in the churchyard
No cards or pity just a childlike space in our hearts
We're crying now
We we're crying then
Hearing golden bells
Oh the light that shines on life
And the living that can tell
Oh the joy, when the gates we reach
And ring those golden bells
The first verse of Vitalic's "Bells" provides a vivid picture of a solemn ceremony in a church. The choirs are singing, and candles are burning as the lantern girls and altar boys are busy with their tasks. Our protagonist, along with his baby, watches the prayers go higher and higher. This scene is portrayed as melancholic, with the use of words like "sadly", "slowly" and "surely". As the ceremony ends, the couple takes their leave, and the bells chime, leading them to tears.
The second verse of the song follows the couple's journey as they walk from the chapel gates, with the wind drawing them closer together. The couple doesn't have any usual arrangements of flowers or cards, but a childlike space in their hearts that mourns the loss. The chorus repeats the phrase "We're crying now, We were crying then" over and over again, emphasizing the intensity of their grief. However, amidst the sorrow, there is a sense of hope and joy, expressed through the idea of "golden bells." The singer seems to suggest that there is a light shining on life, and when we reach the gate, and "ring those golden bells," we feel immense joy.
A few interesting facts about "Bells" include that it was released in 2017 on the album "Voyager." It is an eclectic mix of electronic, new wave, and Italo-disco. The song is unique in its lyrics and vocal interpretations, providing a soulful experience. The song is also part of the Vitalic's exploration of the intersection between dance music and introspection. The French DJ uses his music to encounter conversations on human emotions and experiences in a vulnerable and honest way. Additionally, Vitalic has said that Voyager is supposed to represent the journey his music has taken.
Chords: Dm, F, C, G.
