In 2005 Campbell released a solo album produced by Tor Hyams called "Two Sides of If", which features cover versions of his favourite blues tunes and one original blues song. Terry Bozzio plays drums on the album. ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons guests on two songs, and Joan Osborne on one other song.
He then joined Thin Lizzy in 2011-2012 and founded a Dio cover band named Last in Line with three other former members of the band.

And I can't help but ask myself how much I'll let the fear
Take the wheel and steer
It's driven me before
And it seems to have a vague, haunting mass appeal
But lately I am beginning to find
That I should be the one behind the wheel
Whatever tomorrow brings
I'll be there with open arms and open eyes
Whatever tomorrow brings
I'll be there with open arms and open eyes
So if I decide to waiver my chance
To be one of the hive
Will I choose water over wine
And hold my own and drive?
It's driven me before
And it seems to be the way that everyone else gets around
But lately I am beginning to find
That when I drive myself my light is found
So whatever tomorrow brings
I'll be there with open arms and open eyes, yeh
Whatever tomorrow brings
I'll be there with open arms and open eyes
Would you kill the Queen to crush the hive?
Would you choose water over wine
Hold the wheel and drive?
The song "Drive" by Vivian Campbell is a powerful anthem about taking control of one's life and facing fears head on. The opening lines describe the fear of uncertainty and the question of how much control fear has over one's life. The idea of fear taking the wheel and steering is a metaphor for how fear can take over and guide one's decisions, but the singer realizes he wants to be in control and take the wheel himself.
The chorus repeats the phrase "Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there with open arms and open eyes" emphasizing the idea that the singer is ready to face whatever comes his way with a positive attitude and a willingness to take on challenges. The second verse poses the question of whether the singer will choose to be a part of the "hive" and follow the crowd or hold his own and drive. The metaphor of water over wine suggests choosing something more practical over something more indulgent, again emphasizing the importance of making practical choices.
The final verse asks a provocative question: "Would you kill the Queen to crush the hive?" This line suggests that the singer is willing to challenge the status quo and take risks to make his own path in life. The repetition of "hold the wheel and drive" throughout the song reinforces the theme of taking control and being in charge of one's life.

Zidders Roofurry nothing against the Slash model, but apples to oranges:
Vivian Campbell model
Set neck
Dimarzio pickups
Slash model
Bolt on neck
Epiphone pickups
I haven’t played either, but I’ve been building long enough to know that attaching a set neck takes much more time and skill than attaching a bolt on neck, and those Dimarzios run, what, around $80 a piece? Both of those things alone will drive up the price, not to mention the brass nut and other differences in specs.

There was nothing wrong with Sacred Heart. GREAT songs and better overall guitar sound. Vivian's lead playing changed a bit but was still awesome. Dio was never the same after that album.
