Árboles Bajo El Mar
Vivir Quintana Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Respiro profundo y vuelvo a caminar lento
Respiro profundo y vuelvo a mi propio tiempo

Overall Meaning

These lyrics tell a story of perseverance and hope in the face of adversity. The singer has planted all of their seeds in trees under the sea and in cries for freedom, implying that their efforts may be fruitless or unseen, but they continue to sow anyway. They remove all the thorns they brought from overseas and instead grow flowers without thorns in the Yucatan, showing a shift towards nurturing and cultivating rather than bringing harm.

I sowed all my seeds in trees under the sea,
I sowed all my seeds in cries of freedom,
I removed all the thorns that I brought from overseas,
I watered flowers without thorns, they were born in Yucatan.

Breaks the earth, the step that drags death, if the cycle is fulfilled, life returns again, even in the storm it does not stop.

Some people may think changing Namor's origin into Mayan is just another woke thing but I think it's more interrsting than Atlantis. Atlantis is already spended too much. But this Mayan history gives Namor and Talocan more mystery and scary vibe than pretty and ideal Atlantis. And Tenoch Huerta's acting was awesome

I talked about this earlier with my mom. watched the movie with my parents the day it was released and today we talked about how perfect of a fit this background was for Namor. It gave him such a chilling vibe, in a good way. Genuinely love that they made this decision. it makes him a lot more interesting than keeping the Atlantis background

I wish caucasoids didnt watch Get Out or listen to Donald Glover, then we would have to listen to them misuse and overuse slang that was once otherwise unknown to them 🙄. How so you manage to suck the seasoning/flavor out of everything?

The build up to the explosion of music at 4:34 is terrifyingly gorgeous. You can feel the rage.

@JosephDutra

Ludwig seriously needs to win another Oscar! This score is in every way amazing!

@multicreativeartist6579

He’s my favorite music composer because he’s unique compared to other scores. I love that he likes to use traditional music but compose it as modern music. He also uses the drums a lot which makes the soundtrack even more epic

@radguurl

I am SO ANNOYED he didn't even get nominated for this soundtrack. Complete and utter BS, Academy!
