Birds of a feather, we rock together
And when we have a problem, we talk together
So let's stay down South, escape the bad weather
Oo ooh, oo ooh

The rain came through my treetop
Washed away so many things
Things I couldn't learn 'til I went through
Things I didn't know 'til I met you
Well I'm

Learning the hard way
Learning the hard way
Learning the hard way to be true
Now I'm learning the hard way

Birds of a feather, we rock together
And if we got a problem, we talk together
Let's stay down South, escape the bad weather
Oo ooh, oo ooh
Birds of a feather, we rock together
And if we got a problem, we talk together
So let's stay down South, escape the bad weather
Oo ooh, oo ooh

The wind came through my treetop
Blew away so many things
Harder than the breeze on which we once flew
Farther from the tree where I met you
So I'm

Learning the hard way
Learning the hard way
Learning the hard to be true
Now I'm learning the hard way

Birds of a feather, we rock together
And if we got a problem, we talk together
So let's stay down South and escape the bad weather
Oo ooh, oo ooh
Birds of a feather, we rock together
And if we got a problem, we talk together
So let's stay down South, escape the bad weather
Oo ooh, oo ooh

The sun came through my treetop
And it shone so bright it lit up everything
Shone a light of something that was so true
Suddenly I knew I had to have you
I'm

Learning the hard way
Learning the hard way
Learning the hard to be true
Now I'm learning the hard way

Birds of a feather, we rock together
And if we got a problem, we talk together
So let's stay down South and escape the bad weather
Oo ooh, oo ooh
Birds of a feather, we rock together
And if we got a problem, we talk together
So let's stay down South, escape the bad weather
Oo ooh, oo ooh
Birds of a feather, we rock together
And if we got a problem, we talk together
So let's stay down South, escape the bad weather
Oo ooh, oo ooh
Birds of a feather, we rock together
And if we got a problem, we talk together
So let's stay down South, escape the bad weather
Oo ooh, oo ooh

Yellow, yellow, yellow, yellow rumped warbler
Oh are you flying today, today, today, today, any day?
Are you flying today?
Are you flying today?
Today, yeah

Interviewer: "Is Stratton the best pancake player in the world?"
Joe Dart: "Stratton isn't even the best pancake player in Vulfpeck."

@danielbrancus1637

Haaa I get the reference. Paul McCartney right?

@shahafshavit1114

@@danielbrancus1637 Actually John Lennon on Ringo in 1964 interview if i recall correctly.

@jas_bataille

@@shahafshavit1114 Yep. And from that point on the whole world believe that Ringo was not a good drummer while every session drummer in NY, LA, Nashville and basically all over the world shitted their pants after they heard Revolver.

@LassieRF

@@danielbrancus1637 think this mighta been just a reference to joe's side to side headbops

@LassieRF

Stratton's pancake playing truly is intriguing, as it shows his strong influences of the classic, minimalist pancake funk- (otherwise known as punk) players of the 70s and 80s (duh). His punctuated, accentuated, right hand also shows that his style clearly stems from the European pancake-drumming style of the classical virtuosos: Paul von pannekoeke and Ludwig af bätter to name a few. Great work at inspiring the younglings of this generation and perfectly capturing this almost forgotten art, Mr. Stratton. Hats of to you sir!
