But it hasn't been until just recently, that this now five-piece band, has taken off into a sunset of their own. Drawing influences from Wonder to Coltrane, and styles from Progressive Jazz to Ambient Rock; It's no wonder they're able to captivate an audience from all areas of the musical spectrum.
Chris Jackson, lead vocalist, has always been the one to explore into depths of music most folks would ignore. He projects a warm timbre, with a glisten all his own, which will find you grinning at the purity and edge of truly inspiring vocals and lyricism. Andy Meyers, drums and vocals, contributes to a much smoother timbre and builds harmonies that mesh clearly with the songs overall direction.
The bands 2006 LP 'Reason For Leaving', although not mixed well, shows a much relaxed alternative rock feel. The new material the band is working on has alot more clarity, versatility and drive. Tyler Anderson, bass, stylistically mimics the formidable Carlos Dengler of Interpol. Driving lines and depth that shape the songs rather than just provide punch and bottom. Guitarists Buv Meyers and Jeff Armstrong round out the band with ambient guitar lines and overdriven tube amps that beg for your undivided attention.
But Wake The Day isn't just a indie rock band from Louisville, Kentucky. These outgoing guys strive to stand out not only with their music, but within their individuality and faith. Although they're not ones to stamp the band with religious footnote, it is very easy to see that the five creators of Wake The Day are devout Christians that work very hard at not only at running a band by themselves, but sharing their love for music with the world in a humble and Christ-like fashion.
After the reverb resides from being noticed, Wake The Day brings a soundscape of tranquil yet powerful melodies that will inspire you to listen again; and putting a finger on their style would prove to be much more difficult than said. The band is continuously changing their sound and trying to find their own musical personality as a band. And to be honest, they prefer it that way!

So he is not dead he is just meditating
That's chilling
@adambalogh8728
I do believe that the monks are on the course to solve this. I mean ageing and death is not absolute for every cell they are just programmed to do it eventually. If we think about that meditation aims to "feel" your body and control it.
