The Cloud by Wale feat. Tiara Thomas is a song about getting high and forgetting about problems. The opening lines of the song, โThey More Nothing, One Two One One Twoโ suggests that the main characters want to get away from reality and the monotony of life. The repetition of the lines โLet's get high, kill these lows, Let's get fucked up to the boneโ and โBlowing trees, yeah we do the damn thing all the weekend, weekendโ emphasize the desire to escape from their problems and responsibilities by indulging in drugs.
Wale's verse focuses on his dedication to his music career by using the analogy of marriage. He talks about being high on good karma and smoking weed, but he never loses sight of his goals. He emphasizes that he is far away from normal life and explains his desire to stay in space with all the weed he has. Throughout the song, there is a sense of confidence, as the artists believe that they can conquer whatever problems they face with the help of marijuana and each other.
Overall, The Cloud is a song about escaping from the harsh realities of life and finding peace and contentment through the use of marijuana. Wale and Tiara Thomas' lyrics suggest that weed is a source of comfort for them, which allows them to deal with their problems in a way that is easy and enjoyable.
