The lyrics of War's song "Peace Sign" describe a day in Los Angeles where everyone is having a good time and spreading positivity by throwing out peace signs. The singer wakes up feeling different and decides to take a look around, finding that everyone in the neighborhood is happy and smiling. They hop on their Harley and cruise through the neighborhood, eventually making their way to the beach and the south side of LA where even the Bloods and Crips are having fun and throwing out peace signs.
The lyrics are a celebration of peace and happiness in a city that is often associated with violence and unrest. The peace sign is a universal symbol of nonviolence and the lyrics suggest that if everyone could just let go of their differences and just have a good time, the world would be a better place.
