Where
Ward No. 6 Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Where are you from
Where are you from
Where are you from
Where are you from
I wanna know 자꾸 눈에 밟혀
Where are you from
Where are you from

I see your lips
I give you my color
Where are you from
Where are you from

I can control the game 이 밤 (tonight)
Sexy
Line 잘 타 흘러내려 가 (you're my line)
Right right right (alright) (listen to me)

Hey we go hard attention
Hey we go high attention

Where are you from
Where are you from
Where are you from
Where are you from

Take my hand

Waddup
Hold me tight
M.I.N.O. 됐지 자, turn up

근데 분위기는 hot as hell

Shake it, shake it like a 짤짤이 (yeah)
텐션 처질 땐 call me

Hey we go hard attention
Hey we go high attention

Where are you from
Where are you from
Where are you from
Where are you from

Pump pump pump it up

Tokyo to L.A.
Vegas 찍고 back to Seoul
I, I, I feel so high, I feel Shanghai tonight, let's go
KL to Paris
Hong Kong party Lan Kwai Fong
I, I, I feel so high, we go crazy tonight, let's go

Everybody follow me
(Everybody follow me)
Everybody look at me
(Everybody look at me)

Everybody go 미쳐 (crazy) yeah
모두 다 미쳐 (baby) yeah
Pump pump pump it up

Everybody follow me (소비해 니 칼로리)
Everybody telling me (움직여 니 팔다리)

Everybody go 미쳐 (crazy) yeah

모두 다 미쳐 (baby) yeah
Pump pump pump it up

i love the "only theoretically acquainted w/ reality" line.

great video and synopsis. i highly recommend this read as well :). there's also a book written by a man who survived the concentration camps and he noticed some people survived mentally and others didn't (of course the name of the book eludes me right now). . .pretty sure the word "logic" is in the title--anyhow, the whole 'suffering is in the mind' mantra would be much forceful coming from someone living in sufferable conditions lol. I think the pt.'s response was perfect to the doctor's :)

It's such a great line - Chekhov was a genius!

Much thought here. What do we say about suffering. Tolle and Dalai Lama seems to think that suffering works and perhaps brings us to something greater. But I don't believe this. I believe it is the healing and kindness that helps us all stay warm.

Mary - thank you for the thought provoking comment.

It sounds like what you're saying is - that suffering isn't the ultimate point or the end goal. Rather, that suffering is like a "mechanism" which can be leveraged to bring about the true goal, which is healing and kindness (empathy, love, etc).

If I'm understanding you correctly, I tend to agree. I'm a Catholic Christian and our general belief is that suffering is never directly caused by God - it's sometimes permitted by God but ONLY if a greater good can be drawn out of it. God does not permit suffering simply for the sake of suffering. It can sometimes be difficult to see this (especially here on Earth), but I'm simply laying out the belief (though I happen to subscribe to it).

It sounds like Tolle and Dalai Lama (according to your comment) are suggesting that suffering is an end in-and-of-itself. I can't comment further, as I'm unfamiliar with their writings/thought, but if that's the case, I think I'd disagree with them.
