The lyrics of Warhead's song "Thanx Killing" ultimately refer to a society that has been conquered and controlled by corporations, churches, and other powerful entities. The first two lines "A corporate ID that shows you your fear / And a cross made the symbol we all need to bear" reflects the idea that societies are controlled and manipulated by using authority symbols such as corporate and religious ones, to instill fear within the masses. The following line "These monument buildings – a power to show" is likely referring to statues, monuments, or buildings that are erected to celebrate specific figures, typically people of great historical significance, but in this context are the elite and the powerful. They are a power to show as they display the influence and control they have over the people.
The next line in the lyrics "You live on your knees as they tell you so" describes the obedience that the society has towards these structures and how they act subserviently to the will of the ones in charge. For the people in power, progress does not matter, and they do not bother aiming for a fair and equal society as they are content in subjugating the masses.
Ignorant faith sill stands at your side
Faith rooted in ignorance and an irrational fear of the unknown is what shackles a person from seeing the truth and thus enables leaders to continue manipulating and controlling the people.
They conquered these lands
The oppressors forcefully took over the land, impositions, and assets of the oppressed class.
And showed you his will
The real intentions of the oppressor are not in helping people but in advancing their own interest and exploiting the weak people to sustain their power and wealth.
With blood on their hands
Those who wield power have acquired it at the expense of human life and are responsible for literal deaths due to their violent and gruesome nature.
Humanity's failed
The atrocities carried out by the powerful class that disempower and oppress the poor signify a monumental failure of the human race to be a compassionate and equitable species.
The star struck are blind
Celebrities and well-known people who seem to be mesmerized by power and wealth fail to see the problems that lay beneath their feet and are blindsided by their own ignorance and self-interest.
The brain is impaled
The eventual failure of reason and rationality is implicated by the despots' complete willingness to crucify any opposition—one who attempts to present the truth, intelligence, mind, and reason, shown by the metaphorical impalement of the brain on a cross.
Get down and praise
A clear call to the people to reject the oppressors' grip and find solace in each other's company and solidarity with each other.
