On the following year, the band saw the addition of Lauri Porra and Janne's guitarist brother, Antti Wirman. This line-up proceeded to record on the Warmen Productions Studio (now named Beyond Abilities) the album Beyond Abilities, a speed metal album that received critical appraisal. With a more presence and diversity in the vocals, this album made use of the talent of Timo Kotipelto, Pasi Nykänen (Throne of Chaos) and returning vocalist Kimberly Goss.
Their third album, Accept the Fact was released in June of 2005.
Warmen have released 4 albums so far: 'Unknown Soldier' in 2001 and 'Beyond Abilities' in 2002. The band went quiet for a couple of years due to Janne's commitment to Children of Bodom, but then in 2005 they returned with 'Accept The Fact' featuring the cover of 'Somebody's Watching Me' with Alexi Laiho on vocals. In 2009 Warmen released another album, entitled "Japanese Hospitality".
Fire Within
Warmen Lyrics

So this is the end
Cam you feel my fire
That is burning within?
I have broken every chain
That you have put me in
I am free, so now it's
They're not worth the pain
Slit my wrist again!
Broken glass the key
To find my final release
Jagged edge upon my flesh
It feels so complete I've been searching so long
For a way out of here
Eyes wide open now it
All seems perfectly clear
Take my hand and join me
There is nothing to fear
Die with me my love
And we'll forever be near
The only way to be free
The lyrics of the song Fire Within by Warmen depict a state of desperation and a longing for freedom. The opening lines, “I can't take it anymore, so this is the end” give an indication of the torment and struggle that the singer of the song is going through. The lines that follow, “Can you feel my fire, that is burning within?” further emphasize the intensity of the emotions that the person is experiencing.
The chorus of the song indicates that the person has finally broken free from the chains that held them captive. They are no longer willing to tolerate the pain, and the only way out is to give in to the suffering, “Slit my wrists again! Broken glass the key to find my final release, jagged edge upon my flesh, it feels so complete I’ve been searching for so long”. The lyrics are telling a story of a person who is at a breaking point and is willing to do anything for their freedom.
The final lines of the song, “Die with me my love, and we'll forever be near, the only way to be free” finally reveal the true nature of the singer's struggle. They are not just seeking freedom from external sources but also from internal demons. The lyrics are dark and heavy, dealing with themes of suicide and self-harm, but they also convey a powerful message of perseverance and the determination to break free from the chains of pain and suffering.

"The idea of me making a solo album initially came from Warmen guitarist Sami Virtanen. He once half seriously asked me if I could play on his solo album. I answered - half seriously- "of course if you will play on mine." After that I asked Ewo from Spinefarm about this (still half serious) and he told me that if I decided to do it, Spinefarm would release it. And so I started to check out the possibilities and musicians with whom I could start to making this project reality." - Janne
