Damnation
Warpath Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The demons begin their wake
And army of the dead
Summoned back to life
Your soul they will not take
Your fate has been sealed
With blood
Now that the deal is done
And all hope is gone
The powers sworn to you
Mean nothing in this hell
No chance to be reborn
It's tome to rise
The day has come
All that's left to you is
Eternal damnation
Your fate has been sealed
With blood
It cannot be undone
It's tome to rise
The day has come
All that's left to you is
Eternal damnation
It's tome to rise
The day has come
All that's left to you is
Eternal damnation
The above lyrics are from the song "Damnation" by Warpath. The song starts by describing a "darkened tomb" where demons wake up and summon an army of the dead. The lyrics suggest that someone's fate has been sealed with blood, and now they are facing eternal damnation. The powers that were once sworn to this person are now meaningless in this hell, and they have no chance of being reborn. The only thing that is left for this person is eternal damnation.
The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "It's time to rise, the day has come, all that's left to you is eternal damnation." This suggests that there is no escape from the fate that has been sealed. The song seems to be exploring the themes of death, the afterlife, and the consequences of one's choices in life. It seems to suggest that there is no redemption once the deal has been done and all hope is lost.

Wow these guys are actually really good, and unlike the speed bands they don't just play senselessly fast. I prefer them because they add some tempo changes and use actual good riffs.
