Face To Face
Warpath Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Terror, this emotion it needs
Silenced, the voice draws near
Control, is what it seeks
Authority, over the weak
Damaged I give in
Reality slips away
Don't try to deny me
I feel it control me
I taste its decay in me
This is a new mind disease

Now that the chemicals release
My other self, I feel no peace
Hyde, the fire burns in me
The unfortunate will see
This other identity
Lives in my mind
Body and soul
Possession it finds
Damaged I give in
Reality slips away
Don't try to deny me
I feel it control me
I taste its decay in me
This is a new mind disease

Too late to go back I fear
Dominate mind and soul
No memory has been retained
Nothing left only he remains
Damaged I give in
Reality slips away
Don't try to deny me
I feel it control me
I taste its decay in me

This is a new mind disease

I love the in your face guitar tone hear. A lot of metal guitar players use way too much bass and not enough treble as well as no presence and it makes the guitars sound less viscous and less aggressive
