Bullet
Warren Nick Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Everything alright, ain't nothing wrong
Not strictly true
But its the best way yet to make it through
Some errors have been made
Won't go away
Won't make as many more today
Yet remembered as the one
Not as much fun as those ahead
Not yet begun
To get it right
Ain't nothing wrong, ain't nothing wrong
Everything alright, ain't nothing wrong
To think it easy as simple a, b, c
No magic spell
No mystery
Assuming everything is well
As can be
Dreamed about it
Longing for it
Ain't we all but doing it
Takes something more than better is the best
Requested
Now lets get it right
The lyrics to Warren Nick's song "Bullet" explore the idea of denial and the lengths we go to convince ourselves that everything is alright, even when it isn't. The repetition of the phrase "ain't nothing wrong" creates a sense of mantra-like repetition, as if the singer is trying to convince themselves that their mistakes and problems aren't as bad as they seem. The second stanza delves deeper into this idea, acknowledging that errors have been made, but that we must stay present in the moment and focus on doing better in the future. The line "To get it right" serves as both a call to action and a plea for self-forgiveness.
The song also touches on the idea that achieving our dreams and goals isn't as easy as we imagine it to be. The line "To think it easy as simple a, b, c/No magic spell/No mystery" suggests that success requires more than simply wishing for it. It takes hard work and dedication. The final stanza seems to offer a sense of hope and determination, with the phrase "now lets get it right" serving as a call to action or a promise to do better.

This is art! When I show this to my friends, they say it's "boring", or "repetitive". Not everyone understands this style.

I know! Like yes! I get it, it can sound a bit repetitive but that's because you aren't listening to those minute details within the song. You aren't tuning into those small notes that bring the whole song together! Club music sucks now!! I can't stand the music that just sounds like a broken blender leading up to a massive earth shattering drop. That crap seriously gives me a headache lol

I think our musical preferences boil down to brain chemistry (for some of us at least). What is nails on the chalkboard for one man is symphonic perfection for another.
