I'm gonna lose my fucking mind
College, job, or nuclear war
What the fuck am I here for?
Pressing on, hating it...no rest
Deepest rut, no escape...life's a mess

Ain't it sad we can't even make garbage trucks no more?
Fucking Hell, man...
I noticed it when I was a kid that stuff made today can't compare to stuff made before I was born.
Now we got to the point where a brand new truck has its hydraulics fucking burst into flames after what I'd wager is no more than a couple of years.
I know it's a common thing and everybody knows it, but isn't it sad when they say: "they don't make 'em like they used to' ?
I guess I just can't fathom that the best coffee grinder I'll ever have, was previously owned by three generations of my grandmothers. I'm not saying we need better, but by God is it humiliating and embarrassing to go to the store and see that all glass and plates and cutlery is made from what I judge to be the most inferior materials I've seen.
Ever read "At The Mountains Of Madness"? Everything is crude and vulgar and if there's a better indication of societal and technological decay, then I do not know of it.
Sorry for the rant. It just messes me up that things are this bad. I don't think they were supposed to be.
Seriously, dude...This truck ain't nearly old enough to be breaking down. Not a good sign when this is how the infrastructure looks like.

@@1000REMBOY You don't even know, dude.(sorry, I'll stop with the familial nicknames now)
I...do very specific work involving certain things, and my girlfriend is an architectural engineer, so believe me when I say this:
Things are literally so bad that thinking about it makes me shake, and I'm not a coward.
It's such a bad situation that I don't feel comfortable writing about it out in the open.
No matter how much you know, you don't know enough, because if you knew it, you'd be sitting in an empty room, hugging your legs and quietly crying, like me.
Forget about the healthcare infrastructure. We can always mulch.
The tubes, though...
It's not even just the tubes. The moment a city falls, the cascade will ripple through and consume civilization itself, and there's nobody in charge who cares or even intends to do something to make things better. Of course I doubt anyone in charge has the sense of responsibility or the intellectual vantage point to do anything but sit on their hands.
Thing is, they lied about history and everything they don't tell us, would be extremely important to know if we were to at least ameliorate the situation.
Toss an email address my way if you want to know more, but you don't.
It's that bad.
