1)WaveRider is François Giroux from Montreal and he started releasing his music under this name on the net in 2004. Drawing from diiverse influences, but mainly from dub and electro, WaveRider's music is a blend of electronic grooves and experimental techno. WaveRider has received some radio airplay in Canada on electronic music shows, and has a following on the internet since he started.

2)Waverider was born in The Netherlands in 1988. Andy started collecting and playing music when he was just 15 years old and accepted an offer to become one of the resident DJ's in a big club a year later. He played every weekend which led to more experience and performances throughout The Netherlands.

He started producing music and decided to make hardstyle music on a full-time base. As a result, he has been signed to TiLLT! Records where he had several releases, including collaborations with artists like Max Enforcer and Digital Punk. His solo release ‘Be As One’ was one of the biggest summer hits of 2011 and received many support all over the world. Recently, he made a labelswitch together with Max Enforcer to the brandnew Gold Records, a new label in cooperation with Scantraxx.

Waverider’s debut was at Defqon.1 2010 which resulted in other great events such as Qountdown, Euphoria and The Qontinent. He definitely proved to be a part of the new generation Hardstyle artists and 2011 has a lot more in store for him as his schedule is filling up fast.
