Hate Me
Waylon Lyrics
I saw you today
So much that has changed
We tried to talk a little
But I had nothing left to say
You're back on your own
Just trying to hold on
And darling I'm still thinking about you
But the truth is I'm gone
Baby, baby, baby don't hate me
Baby, baby, baby stop waiting
Waiting for me
Forget what you feel
'Cause what we had was real
But time just took my love away
Never knew it was so easy to steal
Baby, baby, baby don't hate me
Baby, baby, baby stop waiting
Waiting for me
Get on with your life
I know it's not easy when you loved someone
You'll only live once
So you better believe me
Believe me please
So much that has changed
We tried to talk a little
But I had nothing left to say
You're back on your own
Just trying to hold on
And darling I'm still thinking about you
But the truth is I'm gone
Baby, baby, baby stop waiting
Waiting for me
Forget what you feel
'Cause what we had was real
But time just took my love away
Never knew it was so easy to steal
Baby, baby, baby don't hate me
Baby, baby, baby stop waiting
Waiting for me
Get on with your life
I know it's not easy when you loved someone
You'll only live once
So you better believe me
Believe me please
