Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Ooh girl,
I think I know what's on your mind,
We've been playing love,
Here for quite some time,
And now,
You wanna love me all the time,
Since I feel the same,
Girl, let's make you mine.

Come on over, my baby,
We can leave this world behind.

Ooh ooh oooh.
Give me love in a way that I need you tomorrow morning.
Ooh ooh oooh.
Give me love in a way that I need you tomorrow morning.
Yeah I need you for my life.

Ooh girl, dont you tell doing fine
show me how youd feel
speak what's on your mind
i hope
theres no need for you to hide
eveyrhing i see
hidden deep inside
come on over my baby
we can leave this world behind

Ooh ooh oooh.
Give me love in a way that I need you tomorrow morning.
Ooh ooh oooh.
Give me love in a way that I need you tomorrow morning.
Yeah I need you for my life.

You like a star out in the sky
It start to shine so bright when night comes over me
and i cant open up my eyes
you were lighting up my world only for a while
and I was thinking maybe we
could be here every night
so i can see your face when i wake up here every morning oooh ooh

Ooh ooh oooh.
Give me love in a way that I need you tomorrow morning.
Ooh ooh oooh.

Give me love in a way that I need you tomorrow morning.
Yeah I need you for my life.

The scene by Norah and Cowan, wow.

I laughed when they were keeping look-out. "I see something"
"Where???"
"Something's watching us!"

Wouldn't that be how most civilians would be, being thrown totally unprepared into that sort of situation but trying our best to think of the team, while trying to quickly adapt to such an extraordinary situation?

And then the way they die. "Just go!!!! GO!!!"

Tom Andres

It's neither surprising touching, nor heroic at all. The guy falls down, probably broke his legs and is absolutely done for.
What exactly makes that heroic in him sitting on his behind and yelling?
Was the lady getting shot in the back "heroic"?
There was no 'sacrifice-for-the-team' in either of them. Telling the others to carry on and gaining 10 seconds of plot armour isn't brave at all. Seriously, how do all the spikes miss two stationary targets?
They wouldn't have made it in the first place. If anything then it might be them showing acceptance that they're done for and try to make the best of the last seconds they have.
But both were still done for, not even changing the result much, or at all, the guy even causing it in the first place, which is the exact opposite of a brave 'sacrifice-for-the-team' moment.

Honestly not sure if we watched the same clip.

And this is not me being a mood killer.
To be honest, you're killing my mood being so delusional.

The plot is similar to a book I read once, written in the 50s. In that book, monster-like aliens landed their spacecraft on Earth in the future and conquered the planet, except that a few million humans used time travel to escape to the present day, where they enlisted our help to stock up supplies prior to jumping a few million years back in time to start a new life in our past.

The catch was a few of the aliens managed to sneak to our present day as they were chasing the refugees.

When these few aliens in the present day were about to be killed by our military, they escaped our weapons by jumping backwards in time. Y'see, they were incredibly adaptable aliens, and they learned how to time travel merely by having done it previously (with our help).

It turns out that the aliens jumped back in time to the age of the dinosaurs, and they were the reason the dinos died out!

The future humans jumped back in time to before the dinos rose to dominance, though, so that way they avoided the aliens .

Plot aside, this is one of the most terrifying and facinating alien design.
They are fast, heavy, tanky, deady in CQC, deady in long range, can jump, craw on ciling. can swim and even glide. And as if these are not enough, they are very intelligent, cooperative, loyal, and most of all, has the determination of John Wick.

Orion Arawn

honestly the origins aren't touched on very much but I'm betting that they are supposed to be planet Killers or something along the lines of clearing planets. the way they were shown at the end of the movie being stored on a ship that it crash landed there's no way that they weren't anything more than a biological weapon for all the reasons you brought up.

The Zero Line

@Orion Arawn Not betting. You are explicitly told that in those exact words.

MediumSur Moon

@Orion Arawn they are hyper carnivore, designed specifically to populate extremely fast and efficient . That means they can wipe out their prey’s population really really fast , but they themselves also die out faster because once their food source become scarce, they die out from hunger because of their own hyper metabolism . It’s a really nice concept design to a planet clearing bio weapon , when compared to Xenomorph which is more of their own species that’s trying to survive , these White Spike are specifically designed to breed fast , kill fast , and die out fast . Whoever alien that designed them are genius , throw these alien on a planet and in a decade time you’re good to go and have fun . Those aliens are probably herbivor too since they don’t seems to care that much on these White Spike decimating every single meat that exist on the planet , either that or they don’t care about it because they probably engineered their own lifestock that can populate probably as fast if not faster than these White Spike and probably taste better too

SweetCandyDragon

There’s a theory that the White Spikes, evelution theory, are made from an ant species back when it was just ants. There’s an ant species that has green blood and such.

Movies like this remind me how I miss simple alien invasion films that aren't just about Transformers or superheroes. I wish we can have more movies like this. Maybe next time we can have an alien invasion film, where the aliens are intelligent & actually use more advanced weaponry, kind of like the Covenant from the Halo games.

Hero's Journey

"Aliens are intelligent & actually use more advanced weaponary." Like in battle los angeles.
