Formed in 2005, the band has undergone one name change and multiple line-up changes. In 2016, they signed with SharpTone Records after being part of the Equal Vision Records roster since 2009.

The band has released six studio albums:

Tracing Back Roots (2013)

Cold Like War (2017)
Darkbloom (2022).

They also released two EPs in 2008 titled Demonstrations and Dreams.

My first WCAR song and I fell in love immediately. I fell out from listening to them for a few years and I came back and listened to a song and see what happened to the band and finally found out that Kyle passed. I remember my first concert which was a Zumiez Couch Tour and had the pleasure of meeting Kyle and David. Probably one of my favorite days as a teenager.

Ya know, Kyle's lyrics helped me through what I thought was my darkest days. But my fiance of 7 years just cheated on me and still got full custody of my kids. I have nothing.... no one to talk too no one to tell me everything is going to be okay. If Kyle couldn't control his demons how the fuck can I. I have yet to listen to a black metal song that is strictly worshipping Satan and not talking mostly about the destruction of religion/christianity. Not all Black Metal is Satanic, most bands are just extremely against Christianity or any religion and voices their opinion with very strong, harsh, and violent lyrics towards those who follow that religion.
