The line "but at least we'll both be beautiful and stay forever young" indicates that the artist is well aware that the relationship is unlikely to last and the two partners will be forever young only in their memories. Despite the dark theme of the song, the artist seems to be enjoying the rush of emotions that he is experiencing when he's with his partner.
