Trying do something that will be appreciated
The desire to please others, to gain acceptance and praise from society

As if it actually matters
The realization that pleasing others does not necessarily bring us true happiness or fulfillment

After all, the only thing important
At the end of the day, what truly matters most in life

Is who you are
Is accepting and embracing our true selves

Being somebody
The importance of individuality, of being true to oneself

I think it's the only way to be really free.
True freedom comes from embracing our true selves, rather than conforming to outside pressures

For me, it's just being
For the artist, true contentment comes from being true to himself and his artistic vision

The one who is
Accepting oneself for who they are, without feeling the need to conform to others' expectations
